Dan focuses primarily on the areas of computer technology, mobile devices, and consumer electronics. He assists clients with patent applications, as well as patent strategy, competitive patent analysis, litigation assistance, and post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent Office. Dan received his undergraduate degree in physics from Carleton College, and his law degree from Harvard Law School.

His Ph.D. research at Florida State University involved computational fluid dynamics modeling of ocean physics.
